The companion screen saver loops your Loopaper wallpaper whenever your Mac drifts idle. It's a small, free, separate download — install it once, and the Loopaper app keeps it showing your current wallpaper.
Installing it
- Download and unzip — Safari unzips automatically; otherwise double-click the
.zip. You'll get Loopaper.saver. - Double-click Loopaper.saver, then click Install when macOS asks.
- Open System Settings → Screen Saver, scroll down to Others, and choose Loopaper.
- Back in the Loopaper app, turn on “Keep it in sync with my wallpaper” so the saver shows your current clip.
Good to know
- It needs the Loopaper app — the saver mirrors whatever wallpaper Loopaper is showing, and falls back to a built-in sample if the app hasn't set one yet.
- It's notarized by Apple, so it installs without “unidentified developer” warnings.
- It's a separate download because the App Store doesn't let an app install a screen saver for you.
